Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Woodman Point Regional Park for its excellent dog-friendly beach and calm waters, making it ideal for pets and relaxed strolls. While the scenery is a unique mix of nature and industry, some note the lack of facilities and occasional issues with uncollected dog waste. Reddit

"This is a great beach for dog reactive dogs - it is mostly quiet, with not many dogs around. Most dog owners are pretty dog savvy - and will avoid you and your dog, so they expect the same. However, there have been others who will allow their dog to come up - so you need to make sure you have a plan to deal with off-leash dogs coming your way. The only thing that sucks is that most people don't pick up their poop.

The council doesn't do much to here because there's not much to maintain - no water fountains or benches etc. But there are poop bags, although not always - so bring you own.

The water doesn't have much waves, when there is no storm; so good to introduce more anxious dogs to the beach."

Ariza Nel

"An easy walk with very calm clear water close to shore. Surrounded by alternating views of sea birds, heavy industry and coastal housing. Interesting, different, nice dog beach."
