"Excellence and charm within a superb marina amongst a cruiser’s heaven.

We have just had the pleasure of spending nearly a week on our boat, a Fleming 65, Maybe Later, at The Anchorage Corlette, Port Stephens. What a beautiful, safe, secure marina. It is scrupulously maintained, clean, very attractive and probably, if not the best, one of the best on the east coast of Australia. The marina management and crew are the most efficient, helpful and friendly team. They also support a fuel dock, also very well maintained (a rarity), within the marina. Courtesy cars are available to book, usually a two hour loan unless no other bookings arise for the day, the cars are meticulously clean and obviously well maintained. Good sized courtesy trolleys that are easily manageable are also available. The marina is attached to The Anchorage Hotel, a gorgeous boutique style with several restaurants and pool available to the cruising visitors. We had fun watching the pelicans, shearwater, herons and fish life including dolphin frequently fishing inside the marina. The marina & hotel are within a very pleasant short walk to a lovely beach and only a 30 min walk to a sizeable shopping centre. . We thoroughly recommend The Anchorage to any cruisers and holiday makers, it is a rare gem. (By the way, the entire area offers some of the calmest most picturesque cruising on the south east coast of Australia)."

"Quite nice spot for a walk around and a stroll at night or day. The views are stunning with the boats gently sitting in the dark waters at night. Great scenery! Would also recommend an evening sunset visit as well.

The coffee shop at the marine is quite nice as well all as the bar inside!"
