What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Europa Park Cowra is appreciated as a clean and well-maintained rest stop with historical significance. Visitors enjoy the picnic facilities and ample parking. A recurring point of feedback is that the playground equipment can get very hot in the sun, limiting its use during peak hours.
"Lovely park just east of Cowra. It celebrates the WWII Cowra Military Training Camp which was later used as a migrant camp after the end of the war. The park recognises both groups, however, the camps were not located at this site but further east on what is now private land. So this park provides some information about the history and was on the path walked by the migrants when they ventured into Cowra. Flags and a peace pole remind us of the importance of supporting others when they leave their war torn homes and travel to the other side of the world to start a new life."
