Such a breathtaking place to visit! Greens Pool is surrounded by big granite boulders and has some of the clearest water you’ll ever see – the scenery is unreal. Just a short walk away, Elephant Rocks is equally amazing, with the giant rocks looking exactly like a herd of elephants standing in the ocean.

Sub plutonic granite rock sheets and boulder make for something different to enjoy, not just the beach. There are some surge pools to be mindful of for children or not strong swimmers but they are great for snorkelling. Southern currents are cold and the sea state can be unpredictable. But like the bays, inlets and estuaries, totally worth the effort."

Green Pool in Denmark, WA, is an absolutely breathtaking spot and one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever visited. The crystal-clear turquoise water, soft white sand, and surrounding granite rocks make it look like something straight out of a postcard. The water is calm and shallow, making it perfect for swimming, even for families with young kids.
What I love most about Green Pool is how peaceful it feels. Unlike some other beaches with big waves, this place is well-sheltered, so you can just float around and enjoy the serenity. Snorkelling here is also fantastic—the water clarity is amazing, and you can spot plenty of small fish around the rocks.
The area is well-maintained, with a small car park and good facilities nearby. The walk down to the beach is easy, and the views along the way are stunning. It’s part of William Bay National Park, which means there are other amazing spots like Elephant Rocks just a short walk away.
