"Lovely beach at Castle Rock. Nice stroll on the beach until the mini storm hit. You can see the change in weather from the photos"
Toni Froia Drummond
"Castle Rock is located at the end of the Castle Rock Road turnoff of Meelup Road at Cape Naturaliste. There are public toilets as well as access to a nice beach and walk southeast along the shore lined with rust coloured granite boulders that reach a large rock formation known as Castle Rock.
You can also visit Castle Rock along the Meelup Reserve Trail that passes by as well. The rock formation itself is interesting. We also enjoyed walking past Castle Rock and enjoying the very large boulders on the southeast side. Very impressive seascapes and views of the Geographe Bay from this location."
Brad
"A late afternoon is just amazing for wildlife.
There is quite a few Quenda together with parrots and honey eaters.
The Quenda is timid so you need to be quite to see this unique marsupial."
