Reviews Summary
Chenrezig Institute is widely praised for its serene atmosphere and spiritual offerings, providing a peaceful sanctuary for visitors and residents alike. While many appreciate the kindness of staff and the beautiful grounds, some concerns have been raised regarding hygiene at the Big Love Café and clarity on vegan dining options.
"It has been a while since I visited. However, The food was extra special, being organic... served by loving people with no charge. I had a beautiful experience in the meditation room...I felt at home... great experience for me."
Janice Bray
"I was shocked by the state of the "Big Love Café" Vermin droppings were scattered in the seating area, and I saw what appeared to be a rat moving in the kitchen where food is prepared. This is a serious hygiene and health risk.
When I raised it with staff/volunteers, they showed no concern and did nothing about it. For your safety, I strongly advise avoiding this café until proper food safety and pest control measures are in place."
