"A short (15min) walk to a fabulous coral beach. Unfortunately it was overcast on the day we visited, it had been raining so the bitumen path was slippery, definitely for shoes not thongs. Near the end of the path, if you’re keen you can head over the boulders directly to the beach, however the path does continue to your left down to the beach. Plenty of rainforest wildlife and plants to see along the way. A must go for anyone visiting Fitzroy Island."

"Take runners no thongs be prepared to climb boulders to get to nudey beach coral can be rough on the feet on the sandy beach but water is fresh and great to swim in the shallows no life guard so be careful especially with kids takes a good 18 minutes one way so leave in good time for your return journey by boat."
