"The pier is good & solid, but I’m not comfortable with a pier with railings on one side only which this one has. Today the water was wild & murky and I couldn’t help thinking how it could have been if the wind had turned on us with someone blown off with railing not on both sides.
I sometimes wonder how the fisherman will still go out on the pier when the water is wild., with a fisherman telling us that the wilder the weather, the better chance of catching a fish like the salmon he had just caught… hence my thinking of rails on both sides… but otherwise solid."
