"I’ve been there before — it’s a breezy 🍃, short walk and usually quite busy on a sunny day. But if you go a bit later or on a cloudy day, it’s absolutely beautiful. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore, paired with the stunning landscape, makes it magical. And if you’re lucky, especially in June, you might even hear whales. 🐳 Honestly, it’s probably the best place. Walking the trail is calming every single time I go."

Once on the island, the coastal views are simply breathtaking. The walking trail around the island is well-paved and easy to follow, with plenty of photo-worthy spots along the way—rugged cliffs, crashing waves, and of course, the iconic granite boulders that give the island its name.
It’s a great place to unwind, take in the ocean breeze, and reconnect with nature. Just wear comfy shoes and bring a jacket—coastal winds can surprise you!"

A 680 meter causeway allows access for pedestrians to the island where you'll discover heaps of wildlife such as seals, penguins, dolphins and an array of bird species.
The rugged beauty of the landscape is something to behold and can be easily enjoyed thanks to the boardwalks, stairs and pathways.
Fishing, snorkeling and swimming as well as boat tours are just some of the many leisure varieties on offer.
