What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Lark Distillery Cellar Door for its exceptional whisky tastings and the deep knowledge of its staff, who make the experience both educational and entertaining. The well-designed space with indoor and outdoor seating is also a highlight. However, some guests have experienced disappointing service, with instances of being overlooked or receiving less engaging interactions, particularly when the venue is not busy.
"Have had excellent experiences here before with great whisky, great conversations, and loved every second; today however despite a nearly empty bar there was little conversation, was forgotten for 15 min and had to remind the staff about the whisky and it was not a great experience. I'll still be back, but left disappointed on what should have been an excellent World Whisky Day."

"Very clean well laid out cellar door. Very welcoming staff accommodating all sales, enquiries and tastings. Amazing collection to chose from. Toilets on site and they have areas to sit inside and out. Will be back"

"The famous Tasmania distillery cellar door. Drop in for a dram or in our case gin and tonics in the sun. Soon to be upgraded. There is a full bar up the road as well. Only slip up for us is the absence of some light snacks. The rose gin was very distinctive.
Bonus points for the harbour master Tasmanian amber ale!"
