What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Aire Beach for its secluded beauty and the unique 4x4 track access, making it feel like a hidden gem. The chance to discover ancient dinosaur fossils adds a remarkable historical dimension to the visit. While the ocean is very cold, the stunning views and peaceful atmosphere are consistently praised.
"Great place to visit either to camp nearby or a day trip. To access the beach is a 1.5 km sandy 4x4 track which is fun if you have a 4x4 but is still worth the walk if you haven't. We were the only ones there and the river mouth was open and spectacular views all round. In summer there would be a few more poeple but the track keeps the numbers low. and you could then enjoy the sand and surf."

"Lovely spot to relax, despite the ocean being very cold!"

"During my Year 9 Camp we had a aboriginal elder explain everything on this beach and showed us many ancient dinosaur fossils engraved into the ground and stone. It was such a cool experience. I will never forget it."
