"Quite a decent hike to the top. I walked from Woden and it took an hour each way, 8k round trip. Take some water, which I hadn't, as there is none at the top."

"I used to live at the foot of Mount Taylor for around half a year and totally enjoyed the area, great view, the walk and wildlife.
That was the outset of Covid time. As you can imagine, there weren't many places you can go due to the restrictions. Mount Taylor was the closest place for me to jog, hike and shrug some covid stress off.
You see large number of Kangaroos here in early morning and late afternoon, and I even had to give way to them. :-) You might spot foxes if you go off-track and are lucky."

"Good and easy walk, return trip is 4km from the entry on Sulwood Drive to the top of Mt Taylor. Plenty of car parking spots at the entry. Nice view along the track. Be aware that there is no toilet facility over there."
