While it's a quiet town, its authenticity and hospitality are its main draws.
"Stopped in for the night, having free RV site available near old water tower. Terrific stop. Great friendly staff.
Due to cloudy weather, was able to run gennie for an hour or so.
Attended pub for dinner, "steak bypass", pretty bloody good burger just quietly.
Met a couple of the locals as well as a couple of fellow travellers, swapping stories and adventures. The beauty about that is, you can find out about things that aren't necessarily in the news. The pub is a typical outback establishment, with plenty of history to explore. Pool table and plenty to catch your interest. Too cold and windy to sit outside, stayed around the Coonara which kept us toasty.
A few of the usual kids meals, with a vegetarian option to boot.
Didn't notice any wheelchair obstacles, so should be good.
Had a good few hours with a few laughs thrown in."
