AU$100 Aussie Shiraz
I love Shiraz. I’m ready to spend $100 (Australian) on a bottle as a treat. Has to be Australian. What’s going to give me the most bang for buck?

"Julie and I visited the Henschke cellar door last Thursday 20 November during our 7 day stay in the Barossa. We were looked after exceptionally by Geoff (10/10). This was one of my two favourite experiences of the week. It was great to talk about history and assess outstanding wines, underpinned by current vintages of Mount Edelstone and The Wheelwright (both 2021). The 2008 Julius was also an outstanding aged riesling. Thank you Geoff - we look forward to a future visit."

"Absolutely magical to visit this iconic, six generational family owned winery. Our wine tasting guide Brittany was very professional and a wealth of interesting information about the wines and their heritage. Wines were beautiful, and the decor / set up of the tasting areas worthy of the Henschke brand. Strongly recommend"

"We had an amazing time at Henschke Winery’s Museum and Rare Experience on May 11. Our host, Jody, was super welcoming and friendly. She showed us the historic Hill of Grace and Mount Edelstone vineyards with some of the oldest vines, then gave a really interesting tour of the working winery. The private wine tasting was fantastic, trying different vintages of Cyril and Stephen's best wines. The Hill of Grace Shiraz was the star, just incredible! The Noble Semillon sweet wine surprised us all, so tasty. The food was awesome, especially the shredded pork dumpling—so delicious and perfect with the wines. Totally recommend Henschke’s Museum and Rare Experience for wine lovers."
