We just completed 14 river crossings along the Condamine River Road! I'd never ridden through rivers so it was the first time for me with the Fantic Caballero. A bit nervous but rode half of them, then Tim did a few extra crossings once he'd taken the Tenere though. An awesome adventure, can't wait for the next one!

Easy 4WD day trips near Brissie for a Subaru Forester?

I’ve just recently got a new Forester. No, it’s not a proper bush-bashing, inland roads on Fraser-going 4WD but from all accounts it can handle a little more than the average softroader. I am super keen to have a sensibly bumpy day out, having had my fill of mounting kerbs in…

Visitors rave about the unique experience of the 14 river crossings on Condamine River Road, calling it a must-see and an awesome drive. The scenic gorge and peaceful atmosphere are also highly praised. However, some caution is needed regarding vehicle suitability and the impact of rain on crossing conditions.

"We took the 14 crossings 4WD route.
No signs, so you will have to use google. The crossings were well maintained and easy to cross. (Mainly as it hadn't rained in A while.) lovely scenic and amazing rock structures.
P.s it is narrow in some parts and warnings are in place to not take caravans, buses and trucks. As well as adhere to warning lights.
Definitely a must see."

"Fun and scenic drive through the forest and through the george. We've gone through there with a stock Honda CRV 2002. Would recommend a better vehicle because we almost got stuck in one of the many creeks you have to cross, but in the end, we even bought some honey from a local farmer. Would 100% recommend this drive."
