"For a free public pool this one is great for young kids!
I actually didn't know that it was salt water so that was a nice surprise.
Our 2 year old daughter is not a confident swimmer so having the ramp and the ledge seat surrounding it was great for her to jump off into our arms.
It's not too deep either which is great for teaching how to swim.
It was busy on a Sunday but as the water was super choppy it was a welcome relief from the waves.
Not a whole lot of shade there as the umbrellas get taken so quickly. We found a seat on the stairs and put a towel around us to have some morning tea.
The water feature was a great treat for our toddler to run in and out of safely.
There are surrounding cafes and we got some fish and chips and sat under a tree on the grass watching the ibis population.
A great family area, glad we visited."
