Reviews Summary

Visitors praise the beautiful views and the short, accessible track to America Bay Lookout. The presence of Aboriginal rock carvings and the chance to see waterfalls after rain are highlights. However, some find the track rough and difficult in parts, and caution is advised due to the unfenced cliff.

"Great short track about 1km each way. There are some Aboriginal rock carvings off to the right soon after the track starts. The track ends at a nice lookout but be careful it is an unfenced cliff. The track can be a bit rough in patches so watch your step!"

James Vdb

"A nice track, that combines Aboriginal engravings, a waterfall, views (over Cowan Water) and access to the water. The track is well-defined up to the rock platform. From here there is a very rough and steep track down to the bay, which I wouldn't recommend for children. The bay is rocky and not suitable for swimming. 2.6km return, including the path down to the bay.

Oliver Descoeudres

"Very nice view but l found the track rough and difficult at stages. Initial stage smooth then track covered in large lose stones that are a hazard. Then the track descends down some large rough bits

No facilities"
