What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Barron Falls for its stunning natural beauty and the impressive power of the waterfall, especially during the Wet season. The rainforest canopy walk is highlighted as an accessible and enjoyable experience for all ages. Some minor drawbacks include basic toilet facilities and the potential for reduced water flow in the Dry season.
"Beautiful spot with a lovely view of the falls. We visited in the Dry season, so there wasn’t as much water as we’ve seen during the Wet season, but it’s still worth stopping by. Unfortunately, Queensland Rail was doing track maintenance on the day of our visit, so we couldn’t walk down to the lower platform for a closer look.
Be aware that the toilets are long drops and quite smelly – in the Qld summer heat they’ll likely be worse! 🤢🤭😂 Still, a lovely site to take in the scenery when in the area."

"This walk is great
Well graded board walk in the canopy of the rain forest where you can see all types of trees and plants
There are also bush turkeys and other birds in the forest
The view of the waterfall is also very beautiful
I would like to see it in the wet season"

"The Barron Falls were beautiful, but I imagine in the wet season, they would be next level."
