Reviews Summary

Kutti Beach is a highly-rated, picturesque Sydney Harbour gem, cherished for its calm, clear waters and dog-friendly atmosphere. Visitors love its secluded feel and natural beauty, though its small size means it can get crowded, and access requires navigating narrow stairs. The lack of facilities is a minor drawback for an otherwise idyllic experience.

"It’s more like a private beach. It will be overcrowded sometimes since the beach is quite small. This beach is dog friendly. Furthermore, parking will not be available at end of wharf street however plenty of parking spaces are available on the crescent street."

"Such a beautiful slice of heaven for dogs 🐕 and their families! ☺️ parking might be a bit hard on a hot day but plenty if you park before the dead end street. The stairs down to the beach are very narrow, but only about 10 steps."

Kaya Attwell

"As far as secret Sydney Harbour beaches go, Kutti Beach is right up there. Make your way to the end of Wharf Road in Vaucluse. When you see the wooden boatshed—it’s the Vaucluse Amateur Sailing Club building—look for the gap in the fence and a very narrow wooden staircase heading down. It’s the only way in and out, unless you have quite a few million to buy one of the mansions that overlook the beach.

Once you’re there this is a beauty, but not on high tide, when it nearly disappears for a couple of hours. We came mid-tide and it was great. Locals use it as an unofficial off-lead dog beach, which is cool with us, but as such it does get very popular from around 9am. The early birds get the free local street parking.

There are no facilities of any kind, but it’s worth it and we’d return for sure."
