Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning 360-degree views and unique rock formations at Hollow Mountain, calling it a favorite hike. The challenging rock scrambling is a highlight for adventurers, though some find it difficult. The sunset is spectacular, but a headlamp is essential for the descent.

"This is a great place to go for a hike nearby Horsham, about 30minutes drive.
It took us about half an hour to hike and rock climb some sections up to where we got. I think the track could have kept going even further but we didn’t want to risk getting stuck in the dark after sunset as it would be a difficult trek back in the dark.
Plenty of wallabies jumping around nearby the track as well.
I wouldn’t recommend this place if you have difficulty climbing up rocks."

"The best hike I did in the Grampians. It took me around 45 min to go up (stopping to take pictures). The views are great not only at the top but also along the way.
The path is marked with yellow arrows so if you start from the Hollow Mountain CarPark you won't have any problems finding your way.
To get there follow Mt Zero Rd, it's a gravel road in good condition most of the way, the last couple of km are corrugated but nothing too bad"

German Rodrigo

"The last part of the hike was a lot of rock hopping and theres a couple of large boulders to negotiate ( Im a 50 year old woman so if youre young and flexible disregard this !) but the views from the top and the rock formations are amazing."
