I’m a local photographer, just sharing some shots taken around Geelong. I’d love to hear of any spots you know of that you see bird and animal life

Porronggitj Karrong, Swan Bay, Western Treatment Plant, Lake Connewarre, You Yangs and Ocean Grove nature reserve all provide a chance to get some photos. I also know the location of a nesting pair of Wedgetail Eagles on the bellarine (thought to be the only couple).

Kayaking down the Barwon

Wondering if anyone has much experience kayaking along the Barwon River and whether its possible to through to the ocean? A few cursory looks online seem to indicate it's possible but given the recent high water levels and flooding I was wondering about how safe/practical it…

Pack insect repellent 🦟

Check local conditions ☀️
