Camping in winter in Lincoln forest?
Hello, I was wondering if someone can help me out. I looked at the State park website and not only is it super confusing, it looks super outdated... I understand you can do dispersed camping here... But how does it work? Has someone done it?

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise September Beach for its stunning, private campsites just meters from the sand, abundant wildlife, and clean facilities. The well-maintained sites with picnic tables and fire pits offer a comfortable stay. While the access road can be rocky, recent grading has improved it, and the overall experience is highly positive for those seeking a peaceful natural escape.
"Used to camp here 40 years ago, and have finally made it back after all this time. The camping arrangements have changed, which do have some positives, one being that we knew we were guaranteed our spot despite arriving around 6pm. There's toilets too, which definitely are a positive. They're also cleaned well. We've had a lovely couple of days here. Well done Parks and Wildlife."

"Stunning beach and well organised camp facilities that give you a nice amount of privacy for your camp spot with the beach only metres away. Even with what appeared to be people in every camp spot we barely saw another person. Each camp spot had a picnic table and fire pit.
The toilets were clean and good for long drops.
Take a ground mat if you can as it helps with dustiness and ants when you have your stuff out."

"Fabulous camp site! Sites are well spread out so there is some sense of privacy. Sites are also nicely sheltered (at least those on the low side are) but still only 40 meters or so from the beach. Two pair of drop toilets that were reasonably clean. Beautiful beach, lots of Emus & Roos, tables and fire pit in the site and the road in seems recently graded (May 2023) in excellent condition (at least when dry) - no problems getting a van in with a 2wd at all. Lots of walks and other areas to visit within the park. Much more spread out than Fishermanโs Point. Large sites available for several vans. We found site 2 perfect for a mid size van."
