What are some of the best places to visit/Things to do in Jervis Bay?
So some time ago my friends and I booked a short 4 days stay in Jervis Bay for this week with plans to visit the beautiful beaches. However unpredictably it’s raining for the whole time we stay there. Locals or non locals, what are our options to enjoy Jervis Bay to the…

A lost european tourist that is not really comfortable to drive on the left side asks. What is the best way to get to jervis bay using public transport? Is there something like an app to find others to carpool with? Means a lot. Thanks ahead!

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Long Beach Beecroft Peninsula is lauded for its stunning, unspoiled natural beauty, particularly its expansive white sand and exceptionally clear waters ideal for snorkeling. Visitors appreciate the tranquility and the abundant marine life. However, the limited facilities, including only one portaloo, and the potentially challenging access through a weapons range are noted drawbacks.
"There’s much deterrence and danger warning before you get to this one, Long Beach North, located on the far side of the Beecroft Peninsula Live Fire Weapons Range. The defence forces are happy to let you brave the unexploded ordnance though, after a brief chat with the friendly guards at the gates, where they take your name and mobile number… just in case of, er, something or other.
Some sketchy roads follow until you finally reach your destination, a car park with bathroom that connects to a reasonable path to the beach. And Long Beach is long (always wanted to say that), uninhabited on the morning we went and very calm.
We were glad we brought our snorkelling gear today, as the fish density towards the headland to your right became increasingly hectic, some of the best we’ve seen anywhere in Australia. From really big fish and rays to schools that combined with other schools to create true shoals of colour and movement.
It was so engaging and entertaining we stayed out there until fatigue told us to return to shore. Considering heading back there again tomorrow…"
