"Ride your bike, walk, or run the track. It's absolutely stunning once you're inside the track, and there is the option to do some of the trek along a section of the beach.
Definitely worth the walk, be sure to pack a snack or picnic and plenty of water.
Not ideal with prams, unless they have big beach or off road wheels/tyres!
If you get too tired for the walk back to Surfer's Paradise, you can jump on the bus which is super handy.
This is my new favourite exercise spot!"

Navigating the Federation Walk Coastal Reserve
For those looking to explore, starting at Philip Park is highly recommended. This location provides essential facilities like washrooms and ample parking, setting you up for a smooth start. The reserve is also conveniently located near attractions like Sea World Resort and the theme park, offering a pleasant contrast to the theme park's hustle and bustle. If you find yourself tired or simply want to shorten your journey, the presence of nearby bus routes offers a practical solution for returning to your starting point or other destinations, such as Surfers Paradise.
While the paved path is generally smooth, it's worth noting that it might not be ideal for all types of prams. Travelers with young children might find it challenging unless their pram is equipped with off-road or large beach-friendly wheels. This is a small consideration that can make a big difference for families planning their visit.
The Allure of Sunset and Serenity

This sense of tranquility allows visitors to truly unwind and connect with nature. However, it's worth noting that the proximity to Sea World can sometimes lead to noise from helicopters, which might be a minor detraction for those seeking absolute silence.
Despite the occasional helicopter noise, the overall sentiment is one of peace and natural beauty. The combination of the well-maintained path, the diverse scenery, and the stunning evening light creates a memorable experience for those seeking a calm and scenic coastal escape.
