"This is one of the closest to Melbourne snow experience resort during winter (June/July/August). Not very big areas to slide with toboggan but for kids the two sections will surely attract but cost is $40 for adults with a child included and if you go solo then it is $30. parking areas are limited and may be struggle during school holidays or weekends so target to reach early. There are enough eateries to enjoy hot foods and coffee. Toilets and picnic areas are there."

This was my first ever snow experience in lake mountain and Coming from the tropics myself, I’ve always found myself wanting to see snow and have always been fascinated by the white sheen.
The snow seemed to have fallen heavy the previous day, the day we went had mild shower but no snowfall, yet there was plenty of fresh snow for us to enjoy.
One thing which I felt was a rip off was the tobaggon pass where they said most runs were closed except for the main one as it was a week day and yet charged us a regular fee? But apart from that we thoroughly enjoyed our day."
