What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ice Zoo offers a fun ice skating experience with friendly staff and helpful penguin aids for beginners. However, some visitors have noted issues with the consistency of instructors for lessons and the condition of rental skates. The rink size is considered adequate but not expansive.
"Very disappointed, our child has been doing ice skating lessons (tiny tots 4 years old) for a few months now. Every single Saturday lesson has a different instructor, which impacts the his development, guidance, learning consistency and overall rapport building.
We spoke with management and were advised that they need to give all instructors work, therefore are not actually taking into consideration the students. $40 for a 30 minute lesson you would think that they would want to provide quality lessons and the students learning development would be a priority. Unfortunately would not recommend Ice Zoo for skating lessons."
Tammy C
"It's a nice ice rink, which can be a little crowded but it's nice. There is a party room for kids, which is a great touch too. There are little penguin hires too for beginners or kids. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience."
Anusha Ramgoolam
"Very disappointing. Paid $34 plus $10 for the penguin, but my child didn’t even touch the rink and they refused any refund or credit. The skate change area had a terrible smell and looked unhygienic. Not family-friendly at all."

👨👩👧 Families with Kids
To make the most of your family visit, consider booking a weekday session to avoid the biggest crowds. Dress everyone in warm, comfortable layers, and don't forget gloves! While some reviews mention potential issues with skate rentals, bringing your own skates if possible can ensure maximum comfort for your children. Overall, it's a fun way to introduce kids to the joy of ice skating in a supportive environment.
⛸️ Aspiring Skaters & Enthusiasts
If you're a serious skater, you might consider investing in your own ice skates for optimal performance and comfort, as some rental skates have been noted to have wear and tear. 💰 Budget-Conscious Visitors
To save money, consider visiting during off-peak hours on weekdays, which might sometimes have slightly lower rates or simply offer more value due to fewer crowds.
