What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Mascot Plane Spotting Lookout as an amazing, hidden gem for aviation enthusiasts, offering unparalleled close-up views of aircraft. While the excitement of seeing jets take off is a major draw, some reviewers note that the beach area can be unclean and the location exposed to wind and rain, suggesting that good weather and a bit of preparation can significantly enhance the experience.
"Amazing plane spotting place. Make sure to check the flight radar 24 app and go in time with good traffic and some a380s.
If you are an aviation enthusiast this is worth it. You can walk to the place and it’s a little long walk to get there and cuz I did it a rainy windy day I really felt that coming in the car would have been better. There’s space to park your car and enjoy the planes while being seated. However the beach area was unclean. But the views are amazing. Make sure you go on a sunny day otherwise you will have to feel the mighty wind and rain altogether 😅
I went on Monday(18th August) from 2.45pm to 3.30pm I got the chance to get 2 a380s, one a350, one 747, two 777s and one 787 in close to 45 min even less of stay. (Couldn’t wait longer cuz of the heavy rain and wind 🥲)"
