What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Medowie Macadamias offers a charming farm setting with unique macadamia products, especially its highly praised homemade ice cream. While many enjoy the fresh food and peaceful atmosphere, some visitors find the food portions and value for money to be lacking, and the service can occasionally feel intrusive. It's a popular stop for families due to the playground and for those seeking local produce.
"We family of 4 had lunch at the Macadamias, and it was good! We ordered a classic beef burger, chilli chicken and tuna pasta, chicken carbonara pasta, and chicken schnitzel plus a plate of fresh garden salad. The food was fresh and tasty, and the service was good. There was outdoor and indoor sitting. Try the homemade macadamias ice cream. That was yum! Mix berry smoothie was delicious π."

"One of the most over rated places going around. The portions and quality of food is very poor. A milkshake is so small you need another 2 to make up a normal size compared to what other places give you. Service is way too annoying with the continually pestering if you have finished with this or that every few minutes. Location and place certainly could take off if there was better food, service but also open 7 days a week.
Would recommend bypassing this place as there are a few better cafes near by which get better food and value for money."

"This is a must visit in Port Stephens! The cafe is based on a macadamia farm with a selection of icecreams made on site. There are also macadamia nuts that you can buy as raw, salted or roasted in small medium and large bags. They also have other products like macadamia oil, soap, honey and creams. My highlight was the macadamia and lemon myrtle icecream. Creamy delicious goodness I highly recommend."
