"Lovely local walk. However there are a number of interlinking tracks which are poorly signposted. Easier to navigate using Google maps."

"Date/time of visit: 25 November 2024 at 2.50pm
This is, basically, original (and now scarce) bushland that hasn't been developed (fortunately) into housing. There are purposed made gravel tracks through the area. Unfortunately, a lot of it is very steep. Moderate fitness and strength will be required. It will help develop tgat fitness. Not suitable for elderly (especially frail or those with ok to moderate fitness). We did see some wikdflower during this walk but not much - maybe the wrong time of year (don't know). Good views down into the suburbs of Bellerive and Howrah and looking back to the city, with river views. It's good they have kept some bushland but it's nothing to be proud of. More bushland shoukd have been kept because there's not enough tree cover in Hobart and too much concrete contributing to higher temperatures."
