"Rocky Point Island is a small headland that separates Edwards Beach from Balmoral Beach on Hunters Bay, Middle Harbour. The small island is accessed by either the sand, or a bridge that was built as a government employment project during the Great Depression, as was the Bathers’ Pavilion to the west located off Balmoral Beach Reserve.
Spectacular views that span nearly 360 degrees looking over the bay towards Clontarf to the north and wrapping right around in a clockwise direction taking on views of the Grotto Point Lighthouse, North Head, Middle Head and the Balmoral Baths to the south.

Plenty of paid ticketed parking along the eastern side of The Esplanade, and free 2H parking on the western side and up the off-streets."
