Located in Myponga Beach, this rock pool can be found on low tide. Park on Old Jetty Road, and head to the North Western point, once you get there continue following the coastline west until you stumble across it. You may need to scramble across a few rocks to get there. But it isn’t too far away #vanlife #traveltiktok #travelaustralia #campervan #bucketlist #traveltips #roadtrip #travelideas #tra...

Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the abundant wildlife, particularly the numerous kangaroos, and the scenic walking trails that offer beautiful reservoir views. The opportunity for kayaking and fishing is also a major draw. Some trails can be steep, and booking kayaks in advance is crucial.

"Did the lapwing loop. Lots of kangaroos and just about an hour. Beautiful views!"

Joanna Parackal

"Excellent walking trail.
Doesn’t go around the reservoir, but just along the southern edge.
Two starting points- front he car park within the park at the end of Eatts St, or the car park in town next to the Brewery.
I recommend starting and finishing at the brewery, although this route is slightly longer.
We walked a bit of a loop and it was about 8.5km.
You can stop and walk to the waters edge at points, but the trail is mostly behind the tree line.
You are guaranteed to see Kangaroos- there are so many of them, and most aren’t too scared of people, so you can get some good pictures. (You wont be able to get super close to them).
The walk has some undulating hills, so not flat the whole way. You can take bikes and kayaks into the park."

Daniel Hurt

"Great walks, picnic tables with views, mix of pine and native forest. Gravel track OK for prams (the bigger the wheels, the better), bit steep in places."
