"Another absolutely fascinating country museum. A $10 entry (concessions and discounts available) gets you access to three floors of local and farming history as well as a range of outbuildings including a complete schoolroom, relocated original buildings and loads of old machinery. There's a beautifully detailed model railway and decent shop. The main building is also home to the tourist information center. The only thing I'd have liked to have seen was some more information about some of the machines in the grounds - I thought I could recognize or, at least, figure out the purpose of most farm kit but some of these old machines left me scratching my head."

A lot of time and effort has gone into making this a great place to learn about life in "the olden days" Well worth a visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly."
