What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning beauty of Nitmiluk Gorge, with many highlighting the incredible boat tours, especially the sunset dinner cruise. The natural scenery and opportunities for wildlife spotting are frequently praised. However, some guests have experienced mixed results with food quality and service at the visitor centre cafe.
"We absolutely loved our 3 gorge tour, which included amazing views of the rock face, a very refreshing swim, and lots of wildlife spotting. It ended around noon and we stopped in at the visitors centre for lunch. We ordered the caesar wrap and it was delicious. Nice and crunchy with eggs, chicken and lettuce inside. Service was amazing at the restaurant and we loved the view. Lots of birds around, including a bowerbird who came to check us out. Overall, very nice place, would visit again!"

"Had the most amazing afternoon cruising on the stunning Katherine Gorge. These guys know how to put together a tour. The skipper was wonderful, and despite having a slight issue with one of the outboards, no one knew about it until the end. The dinner was sensational, like really good, all cooked on a bbq! The eye fillet was so tender and cooked to perfection. Drinks are available for purchase, and despite what the website says, they do take cards.
We were excited to see a couple of freshies as well and a pelican, which was highly unusual in that area. We had a stunning sunset while enjoying a first-class meal.
5stars!!"

"Nice visitor centre where you check-in and book tours as well as having something to eat, breakfast and excellent 👌 coffee. Great place to watch the sun go down. Strange that it does not have a sign to indicate that is also where you check-in and collect keys for Nitmiluk Cabins!!! How the devil would we know that??? We drove around looking and then after checking in noticed someone else struggling, they asked us and then became our neighbours at the cabin next door. Desk woman said everyone says it's tricky to know unless you have been before!!"
