"👍 September 2024
Tour at the Female Factory, it was an interesting experience.
The factory was the destination for many of the convict women sent as prisoners to the colony of NSW.
A good presentation.
Lovely day, I recommend it, to find out the history of this infamous place."

"A fantastic walk through history with some grand refurbishment happening! Enjoy half a day out here.
This new Female Factory site was chosen in Parramatta in 1818. An average of 200 women vied for sixty positions becoming available in 1821. Designed by Francis Greenway (also a convict) and surrounded by the walls seen. So glad it survived its proposed fate!"
