What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Pelican Waters Golf Club for its immaculate course conditions, excellent practice facilities, and delicious food at the restaurant. The friendly staff and beautiful scenery also contribute to a highly recommended golfing experience. Some minor drawbacks include the lack of GPS on carts and potentially limited cafe hours.
"Good test of golf, the greens were really slow but possibly related to the amount of rain weeks prior to playing, the restaurant had really awesome food and great service. Had a hole in one that day which made it even more special ... highly recommended!"
Martin Lea
"Best golfing day that we have had in a LONG TIME.
1. The food was DELISH! Had a steak sandwich on the servers request. Elite
Wife had Bruschetta and looked delicious.
2. Practice facility was elite! Range balls were included in green fees nice touch. Chipping area was awesome too.
3. Course was in Immaculate condition, considering how much rain we have had recently. Bunkers were good, tee boxes were good, fairways and greens were as good as you get.
4. All the staff were friendly and we were treated well. (Small added note was when we sat down for food before the round the staff asked what time the tee time was and made sure they got it out quick so we made the time)
5. Was okay with the carts not having GPS seeing it doesn't bloody beep at you and you have to reverse out. Just buy a range finder if you don't like it!
6. Definitely saw the drinks cart
7. The only con of the whole experience was the lack of a pro shop 🤷 if that's all I've got to complain about not bad!
Overall experience 9.5/10 would go back!"
Brandon Ellison
"The course was great and the pro shop helpful, although not at all friendly. Otherwise Pelican Waters would get a minus 10 from me. Cafe closed by 3pm, no food except a bag of chips, and under sufferance opened the bar at 3pm for our group of nearly 30 pre booked players."
