"We became members of Brokenwood after a fantastic wine tasting in January with Liam, who was amazing and introduced us to some beautiful wines. This past weekend, we returned to the Hunter and, even without a booking, were warmly accommodated. To our delight, Liam was there again and remembered us—it felt like catching up with an old friend! He was incredibly attentive, asking about our wine preferences and even securing us a lunch reservation at The Wood, the restaurant inside Brokenwood.
After an already incredible tasting, our lunch was the perfect next step in our experience. We sat at a beautiful table overlooking the oak barrels and enjoyed the “Feed Me” menu with paired wines. Every dish was a standout, with the gnocchi being an absolute highlight—I highly recommend it! The steak and wine pairings were also perfection. We were so grateful when Chef Sean came out to chat with us, giving us a chance to compliment him and learn more about the food.
Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and we are so thankful to be members of such a stunning estate!"
