South Americans are invading the eastern suburbs
This is on Queen Street, Woolahra. They seem quite tame. I was able to get really close. I got in touch with a friend that works at taronga. Apparently, there is a guy who owns them and let's them fly free. The zoo gets calls about it from time to time. Wild thing to see!

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Queens Beach is highly praised for its tranquil atmosphere, clean sands, and stunning ocean views, making it a perfect escape from crowds. While the walking tracks offer beautiful scenery, visitors note the lack of amenities like bins and the need to bring their own provisions. Some encounters with locals can be unpleasant, but the natural beauty and peacefulness are consistently lauded.
"great walk with amazing views.. easy to moderate trek with some steep steps but manageable not that hard. It's part of the Hermitage walk and we can join in and out of the walking track via the dedicated walkways.. includes boardwalk and natural rock steps"

"Queens Beach is a great little coastal spot that’s perfect if you’re after some peace and quiet. It’s not overly crowded, which makes it ideal for a relaxing walk, a bit of fishing, or just sitting back and taking in the ocean views. The sand is clean, the water’s usually clear, and it’s got that nice laid-back vibe that a lot of bigger beaches miss.
It’s also a good place to catch a sunset the colours over the water can be unreal. There’s not a lot in the way of shops or food nearby, so it’s best to bring what you need. But that’s part of the charm it feels untouched and calm.
Overall, Queens Beach is perfect if you’re after a quiet escape and some coastal scenery without the crowds."

"Nice spot, and the walk wasn't too strenuous, although there are stairs that are uneven in spots, but a handrail is provided.
No bins were provided."
