"On my first visit. This would have to be one of the best ferry services in Australia. The new Queenscliff terminal is wonderful. The check in process is very efficient on a motorbike. I was a little surprised that they don’t tie down bikes but my bike didn’t move on this crossing. I really enjoyed my experience as the ferry sailed across the pristine waters. Disembarkation was flawless also. My only small piece of advice would be to have your boat staff directing traffic on and off being a little more friendly. They were a little gruff with me and others. An improvement here would be in line with the rest of the experience which is fantastic and I can’t wait to bring my family next time."

"Highly recommended that you purchase your tickets online to enjoy $5 discount. It cost $86 for a standard car and driver is included in the price. For each individual adult passenger, it’s $20/pax. Most rented cars and suv are not bigger than the 5.5m allowance. Unless you have a trailer attached. We rented a Subaru Forester and have no problem checking in.
After buying the ticket, you will receive a reference number at the checkout page and also in your email. On boarding day, use that reference number, drive up to the booth and provide that number to the staff and they will open the gantry and allocate you your waiting lane.
Clean restrooms are within the main building and the cafe is located on level 2.
Do check their official website for updated schedules and ferry services might also be affected by bad weather (very rare).
Overall it’s a unique (we don’t have this in Singapore 😂) and pleasant experience and I would definitely choose this travel option again ! Staffs are all very friendly and the ferries are well equipped and clean too.
