Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Hummock Lookout for its stunning panoramic views of the Bundaberg region, encompassing the ocean, city, and vast agricultural lands. The historical information and picnic facilities are also highlighted as positive aspects, making it a worthwhile stop for a scenic appreciation of the local landscape. Some note the missing monument piece, but the overall experience is highly regarded for its natural beauty and accessibility.
"Bundaberg is very very flat with one little hill on it that has an outlook with a small gazebo that has an electric speaking overview on the history of the area. There is also a monument in honour of Bert Hinkler, but it is missing the bronze plane that is meant to be on top of it. If in the area I would pop up, it doesn’t take long and you can see the whole area."

"A treasure in Bundaberg, a sight to behold. Don’t miss your chance to view Bundaberg Nanette surrounding regions from the top on The Hummock. You can see as far as the ocean all the way across the cane fields and to the mountains and beyond. An iconic spot where we made many boozy memories as teenagers. Long live the hummock"
