However, visitors consistently note the significant mosquito presence and the lack of public toilets, which are key considerations for planning a visit.

"A relaxing, quiet walk. We took our time to mindfully spot birds and critters along the way. Pretty flat, gravelly track. Trees helped to shade. A very small section at the start is wheelchair friendly overlooking the creek. The AllTrails map notes a 2.9km loop to follow. I highly recommend Mosquito repellent. Well maintained BBQs and covered benches at the start. No public toilets.

"A hard spot to get to if your not a local. This is a great launch spot, with no sand, but just gravel. We launched our kayak from here, with no problems. It was busy at the tide change but most people are considerate.
Amenities: no toilets. No picnic facilities. No playground nearby. No fresh water source. No shelter.
There were a couple of people fishing alongside and at the launch area. They were in the way. I hope they caught nothing, because they were a nuisance to try and avoid."

Kerry

"Good place to go for a walk but bring aerogard as there are a lot of mosquitoes. Some of the path was flooded. There are bbq areas but no toilets. There is a fishing area that is maintained. Plenty of parking space during the week day. Some of the path is wheelchair and pram friendly. I recommend going to have a look ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š."
