"Best market full of fresh produce such as fruit and vegetables, pastries and bread. The flowers always last longer than the ones I buy at the florist and are a lot cheaper too. The stall holders are very friendly and helpful too."

"If you're in the area on a Saturday morning, do yourself a favour and go get some baked goods. There is just about every alternative dietary need catered for at the multiple bakery stalls there every Saturday. Gluten free, nut free, vegan, vegetarian etc etc. And if you don't feel like something baked there are a fair few alternatives to choose from too! Market is also dog friendly (if keep on a lead and under the standard level of control) and is smack dab right next to Citizens park dog off lead area. Which is almost always guaranteed to be packed with all manner of dog breed, behaviour and age, which is great for socialising pups 😁"

"The Gleadell Street Farmers Market is hands down the best in Melbourne! The produce is always incredibly fresh, and the stallholders are so lovely—they’re happy to chat and share tips about their products. It’s a bustling hub of activity, so if you want to avoid the crowds, the best time to go is before 9 am. That said, it’s worth the buzz, as more and more stallholders seem to join each week, bringing an even greater variety of fresh goods. Whether you’re after seasonal fruit and veg, artisanal bread, or specialty items, this market truly has it all!"
