What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Settlers Arms Inn offers a charming, historic experience with a relaxed atmosphere, making it a popular day trip destination. While many praise the friendly service and pleasant setting, some visitors have found the dining experience and value for money to be inconsistent.
"We used to go past this pub, on family drives, many years ago, always admiring the beautiful place. In recent years we have been there several times for lunch and I have to admit, the first time we went, we were really impressed by the quality of food and great friendly service. Fabulous fish, chips and salad and a nice cold beer after a pleasant drive. The atmosphere, setting, surrounds, great food, drinks and service have drawn us back there several times since.
Yes, it is obvious it has changed hands, but the friendly service and good food continue, good seating outside in the sun where you can appreciate the surrounds - its really a great place to go and unwind with the ever friendly locals. We'll be back."

"After the reviews, we checked out the free camping across the road from here. Very uneven to camp. Anyway we went to sort the local hotel as we liked to do. We ordered dinner at $45 for rib fillet and was supposed to be served with baked potato and veggies but we received thin, overcooked steak and dried out potato bake. Really disappointed. Asked about if they did Pub camping out the back and was told there is plenty if room or on the street. If he said yes he'd be swamped. Wouldn't that increase your patronage of the hotel? We always buy drinks and a meal if we pub camp. I know not all do."
