"We camped on private property right alongside the Sandy Creek Conservation Park with our Cub Scouts. Both the kids and adults enjoyed the experience and all of the furry neighbours, kangaroos and koalas 🐨"

"Sandy Creek Conservation Park is a beautiful natural area, secluded and varied in its flora and fauna. As a bird enthuisiast it is one of my favourite spots. At certain times of the year, mostly autumn, winter and spring, you will be able to spot a variety of birds, flowering flora and other wildlife. There are a number of signed walking tracks to choose from. There are NO bbq's, toilets or shelters available and strictly NO DOGS. So go prepared...to enjoy nature. There is an app available to download called Barossa Country Walks, which gives great details about walking trails in the Barossa region including Sandy Creek."
Jan McKay
"Very hard to find entrance. Paths were reasonably signposted. Very little birdlife the day we visited, but did see quite a few roos. Be prepared to get Very dirty shoes! No facilities of any kind at the entrance we used."
