Thanks boys, she absolutely loved it! It was actually my first ride too! It was exactly like all those American movies you see on the tele.
For $6 a ride, it's totally worth the ride for a bit of history & childlike nostalgia. There is a height restriction of 120cm but as the adult guardian, you are permitted to stand alongside the child for free."

"We took our disabled grandson to the carousel today and we were advised that there was no cost for our grandson and our son was also allowed to go on the carousel without paying to enable him to accompany him during the ride. The volunteers who run the carousel were so understanding and made this so much more of a wonderful experience. Thank you to the people who run this wonderful iconic attraction"
