The rock plateau with its little rock pools and seagulls bathing in the shallows is fun to watch and walk around.
You can also walk out onto the breakwall.

There is the option of the odd bench or stone, and plenty of grass or shell grit to sit on. There is a little sand with shallow water which is perfect for small children.
The ocean pool looks great and there were people soaking up the sun there and one swimming in a wetsuit - presumably for warmth as it's September.

"The beach is small and protected by a sea wall with a boat ramp and a few craft bobbing about. Nice to have the amenities close by across the road and the grassy edge is great for people who don't like sand. Definitely great for walks along the sea front on the created walkway."
