Mikkira Station is overwhelmingly praised as an exceptional place to see koalas and other Australian wildlife in their natural habitat. Visitors highlight the close encounters with animals, the beautiful natural setting, and the knowledgeable and hospitable owners. Some minor drawbacks include the rough final stretch of road and the presence of flies, but these are generally outweighed by the incredible wildlife experience.
"One of the best campground and places we stayed on in our 6 months around Australia Trip. The koala are so near and absolutely gorgeous. The communication with the owner are easy and clear. A lot of space and even big caravan will fit. The road is a little bit rough for the last 1km but shouldn't be a problem. Fly's can be annoying but all the rest is just amazing. Highly recommend this place ."
