"Located on the Murray River floodplain, Wonga Wetlands is an amazing place to visit if you love wetlands. It is home to a variety of wildlife and century old river red gums. We first went in one evening thinking it was enough to visit but the sheer size and number of wildlife made us return the following day. Fair bit of walking around though tree shade is plenty. Toilets available. Lots of kangaroos around, so keep an eye out. Wear comfy shoes, take water, wear hat, sunscreen. Free entry. Tracks are marked out so you can choose to suit your time available. Lovely place for picnic."
