St. Helens Mountain bike tracks in Tasmania. I’m visiting from Melbourne and it’s been fun shredding the local trails. (Rental bike)
We're heading down there in October - I can't wait! They've just put in heaps of new trails and it's only 1hr away from Derby - [https://www.ridebluederby.com.au/](https://www.ridebluederby.com.au/) \- which has a fantastic trail network as well.

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the St. Helens Mountain Bike Trails for their diverse offerings, from beginner-friendly green trails to challenging technical routes and a fun pump track. The well-maintained facilities and one-way trail system are frequently praised. However, a significant concern raised by multiple reviewers is the lack of an on-site first-aid kit, with one visitor unfortunately requiring hospital treatment.
"Really has everything you need here, apart from a first aid kit of course 😂. Really, you should be carrying one. MTB is short for hurting yourself! 😂
I did a challenging ride from the wharf to the summit and down Old Salty Dog. I was feeling it by the time I got to the summit! 🥵
There was even some uphill on the downhill section. 😂
I saw no riders on the trail all day, and it’s great having one way only tracks. Beauty!
On Old Salty Dog there are jump lines you can take which all have gaps, I didn’t do them on my first time out, you need some speed for them. I’ll just look and admire the skills I think 🤔
The facilities are great, good toilets, food bins, parking. Tops!
There are shuttles available if you want to cheat! 😂😂😂

"Really great mountain bike park for any beginners or advanced bike riders! My kids absolutely loved the pump track.
Only knocked 2 stars off because they do not have an available first aid kit & closest place for medical help is the hospital, which is where I sadly ended up. But otherwise lots of seating, good food."
