"As a first time visitor to St Kilda to watch a dear friend perform in “Every Lovely Terrible Thing” at Theatre Works, we were not entirely sure what to expect. However, my wife and I had a wonderful time enjoying the production. What made it all the more special was the theatre, once a Parish Hall and now this amazing community feel performance space, which was as well-equipped and professional as could have ever been imagined. We arrived half an hour before the performance and indulged in a civilized pre-performance drink in the charming front courtyard on a lovely autumnal afternoon. The staff were welcoming and attentive. All and all a thoroughly wonderful experience. The only thing I would say is that the theatre seats don’t have a lot of padding, but I don’t believe a numb bum was worthy of a deduction from the 5 star rating the venue deserves!"
