"Today we went back to Suttons, after a 13 year absence, to see if their famous apple pie was still as good as we could remember.
YES, the apple pie was still as good as it was 13 years ago woohoo! Unfortunately the whole experience was let down by the awful cappuccino's we ordered with it, instead of cappuccino's we got a mug of warm milk - hence we didn't drink it and they went into the bin. The lady that served us, also cleaned the table and saw that we hardly drank any of it but never asked why we didn't drink the coffees. It was a bummer because when we ordered and asked for each of our coffees to have a double shot, she said that they use Merlo coffee beans and they are really strong and tasty. Despite this we insisted on double shots, I don't know where the shots went but definitely not in our mugs :(.
In the end of the day we went there for the apple pie and that was delicious but I wouldn't recommend the coffee, that is if you are used to a strong cup of good coffee and not a warm cup of milk."

"A must visit for lovers of apple pie. You won’t be disappointed! Husband and I shared a portion and it was enough. The cafe is in a big tin shed which must get very hot in summer but there are fans and an outdoor seating area. Lots of apple-related products for sale."

We tried: apple pie, beef pie, cheese cake - they were amazing, carrot cake - was awerage. Can be busy and not cheap. But in general - a perfect example of how the local cafe should be."
